Arrival & departure
On day of arrival rooms are available from 3.00 pm. We kindly ask guests to vacate their rooms by 11.00 am an day of departure. For an additional charge: early check-in and late check-out, if possible.
Rental of hiking & nordic walking poles
You can borrow hiking and nordic walking poles free of charge from reception (in winter reservation required).
Equipment for babies & toddlers
We provide cots and highchairs for our younger guests free of charge.
Free internet
Free wi-fi internet available throughout the whole hotel.
Room & hotel safe
Each room is equipped with a safe. You can also deposit your valuables in our hotel safe at reception.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in our hotel. We kindly ask for your understanding.
Smoking
The Hotel Völserhof is a non-smoking hotel.
Guest card
On arrival our guests receive the Gastein Card free of charge. This card entitles you to free admission to a number of attractions and a wide range of discounts.
Guest Mobility Ticket
Use public transport in the province of Salzburg conveniently and at no extra cost: including arrival and departure with ÖBB rail connections, valid from the first stop within Salzburg.
Free mountain railway (ascent and descent)
When booking in summer 2026, use of the Gastein mountain railways (Schlossalmbahn, Stubnerkogel and Graukogelbahn) is included.

Covered parking for motorbikes

Resort tax
Room rates do not include tourist tax (€ 2,90 per night per person aged 15 and over). For stays of 5 nights or more, a one-off charge of € 1,10 will be applied.
Short stay supplement
A short stay supplement of € 3,00 per person per night will be charged for stays of up to 3 nights.
Conditions of payment
We accept cash, Maestro, Mastercard and Visa as payment methods.
Conditions of cancellation
Cancellation conditions according to Austrian Hotel Regulations apply.
You may cancel your booking without charge up to 3 month prior to your arrival.
From 3 month up to 1 month prior to your arrival, that cancellation fee is 40% of the cost of the booking.
From 1 month to 1 week prior to your arrival, the cancellation fee is 70% of the booking price.
When you cancel during the last week before you arrive we will invoice you 90% of the cost of your booking, on early departure or now show 100%.
